Colic is not fun for any parent, whether new or experienced. My sister dealt with a semi-colicky baby, and I honestly don’t know how she managed. I’d go completely bonkers! I get so stressed when my 1 and 4-year-old cries or whines at me for more than an hour after I’ve satisfied all of their needs. But, when my youngest has those episodes, she is either tired and wants to be held, or she wants to have the ninny when I’m trying to finish cooking dinner. I’ve had my eye on Great Wolf Lodge for a few years now since I love water parks. We used to go to Wild Waves every year with a group of people and it was a ton of fun. Now that we have kids, I figured I’d use it as an excuse to take them to Great Wolf Lodge for our oldest daughter’s almost 4th birthday last month since it’s indoor and we don’t have to worry about the weather ruining our fun if it were to be cold and dreary with the PNWs fickleness.
