20 sites to test free products

The whole point of this blog is because of my obsession with getting things for free. There’s no point in paying for products when companies let you test for free right? Right! So here’s a list of 20 sites where you can test free products too. Some of these I have gotten stuff from and some I have not worked with yet.

  1. Tomoson – Product Review site for Bloggers. You will need to have social networking accounts as well since there are requirements set from different advertisers. I have gotten my foot in the door of product testing with this site.
  2. BzzAgent – Fill out easy one page surveys and qualify for campaigns.
  3. Influenster – Receive random Vox Boxes if you qualify from the surveys they send out.
  4. MomSelect – In-home parties to test kid products
  5. House Party – Test products and have in-home parties.
  6. Swaggable – Add things you’d like to review to your profile and you may be picked
  7. PinchME – Get new samples to try out every 2 weeks
  8. Smiley360 – Free samples of various items
  9. Kraft First Taste – Try new Kraft food products
  10. Vogue Insiders – Try new beauty products
  11. Tide Team – Try new Tide products
  12. Pillsbury Mills Advisory Panel – Try new Pillsubry Products
  13. New Balance – You get to test out new shoes, but, this one requires you to send them back.  (Thanks MassholeMommy)
  14. Crum Creek – Indulge in Healthy Food
  15. All You Reality Checkers – Test products for women
  16. Nike Product Tester – Apply to test shoes and apparel

My 2014 FREE Vegas Reward Redemption’s Thru MyVegas

My 2014 FREE Vegas Reward Redemption’s Thru MyVegas

myvegas slots

We’re going to Vegas again, in less than 2 weeks to be exact. I always make sure to play MyVegas on Facebook because we’re a frugal couple. We don’t like paying the high prices that most tourists pay when vacationing in Vegas. It gives us a little more room to gamble (low rollers) and dine out at thee expensive restaurants.

So far we have all 6 of our rewards claimed. (MyVegas only allows 3 per person in a 30 day period). It used to not be limited, but since its gotten popular, they had to put a limit otherwise everyone would be going just to enjoy their free rewards and not really gambling per say.

We’re staying at the Monte Carlo this time in a Deluxe King room which is their very basic one. It won’t even compare to our last room at the Mirage from MyVegas, but oh well, free is free, and it was the only one available for our dates of travel. (Yes, they have a calendar for their room day redemption)

MyVegas Reward Breakdown:

  1. (3) Nights at Monte Carlo – Sat, Sun, Mon = $467.04 saved
  2. (2) $50 Free Play Vouchers for Monte Carlo (Must stay 3 nights) = $100 saved
  3. 2 Premium Tickets to Zumanity Cirque De Soleil = $245 saved

Which brings our grand total to $812.04 saved to go to Vegas. We paid $316 for both of us round trip to fly Southwest for $79 each way, $106 for our full size rental car and another $56 for our last night downtown on Fremont Street. I also have $104.68 saved on my Total Rewards card because of Social Rewards and my husband has $81, which are both going towards food at CET properties.

Overall, a nice haul (not our biggest) but MyVegas is to blame for that for putting up limitations. LOL cause I still have 150k loyalty points leftover! This will probably be our last trip for a while too since we found out we were pregnant with our first 2 days after we booked the flights. Going to be a unique experience that’s for sure. But, who needs booze to enjoy Vegas?

Have you played MyVegas on Facebook? If so, what have you redeemed, and were you happy with it?

JENN HAS BIG NEWS!

I know I haven’t kept this updated like I should have, but it’s summer and all. Or technically, still feels like summer (93 friggin degrees out!)

I have some big news that I’ve already shared with the Facebook world and our family. We’re expecting a baby around April 16th!! I didn’t think this day would come but it has and now that it has, I am freaking out and not feeling so thrilled about it. Yes, I am happy that god has blessed us with a child. But, now that my hormones are going a mile a minute, I am not super excited like I should be. Maybe once I am further along I’ll be happy? I mean after all, this is a life changing event here.

I haven’t exactly had the best time these past 4 weeks after finding out. There are days where the nausea is so bad that I don’t even want to move from the couch. I’d literally rather throw up and get it over with than feel like I’m hungover all day.

My nipples are starting to change and make me cringe at the slightest touch, my breasts hurt, the constipation is unlike any other constipation I have ever experienced. I am talking shit so painful, you just want to let it sit in your anal cavity than try to push it out. Don’t believe the hype or the happy pregnant people you see on TV if you’re a first time mom, it LOOKS and FEELS nothing like that in my experience! I hear it gets better after the first trimester, so here’s to hoping.

A little under 4 more weeks to go, then onto 2nd trimester.
