The family is super excited to be able to check out Monster Jam this year in Portland at the Moda Center on Feb 29th! I’ve always had a love for monster trucks ever since I was a little girl, but I have never been to a big arena, just the local county fair. It was underwhelming at times but still fun, so I’m thrilled to see it in a bigger arena where they’re able to really maneuver!
It will be the first time we’ve ever been to a Monster Jam, so Arya is antsy for the day to arrive. (only 2 more days or a day and a half if you wanna get technical!)
It’s the most action-packed motorsports experience for families in the world today and returns to Oregon for another high-octane weekend featuring the ultimate mix of high-flying action and four-wheel excitement with the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series®, featuring six different competitions of speed, racing and freestyle stunts including Oregon’s first-ever indoor truck backflip stunt at the Moda Center in Portland on February 29th and March 1st.
Featuring eight skilled Monster Jam athletes, fans will witness a fierce battle for the championship with each Triple Threat Series competitor tearing up the dirt in customized high-powered vehicles: Monster Jam Speedsters, Monster Jam ATVs and of course, the iconic Monster Jam trucks; going head-to-head for points in Freestyle, 2 Wheel Skills Challenge™ and several Racing competitions testing their agility, speed, and versatility. Newly added as a special fan bonus during Freestyle driving segments, a Monster Jam truck/driver will be attempting Oregon’s FIRST-EVER indoor arena-based Monster Jam truck backflip stunt! From unbelievable action to unexpected thrills, this is full throttle family fun!
I’ve heard they can be super loud in an inside arena since it’s enclosed so we purchased some noise reduction headphones on Amazon to help protect our 1 and 4-year-old’s ears! I am having a little bit of anxiety because of Delilah going along since she has her first nap around the time of this and is still breastfed. I am hoping everything goes smoothly with that, as well as her wanting to be up and mobile and not actually watch the show.
